• Alma Park Zoo & Tropical Palm Gardens - Set in 18 hectares of tropical plants and palms, this zoo features exotic animals such as monkeys, baboons, camels, leopards, water buffaloes, kangaroos and koalas. Take a pleasant stroll through the gardens or enjoy the different animal feedings held daily.
• Art Gallery Society Inc. - A collection of Australian art, ceramics, fibre and sculpture.
• Australian Woolshed - A real outback experience featuring sheep shearing, sheepdogs, cow milking, lamb feeding, kangaroos and koalas.
• Boondall Wetlands Reserve - Home to a vast population of resident native and migratory waterbirds. Explore the wetlands via an extensive pathway which includes a trail of 18 Aboriginal totems, symbolic of the indigenous history of the region. For the more adventurous, the wetlands can also be explored via a canoe trail.
• Botanic Gardens - Established in 1855, these gardens are the pride and joy of Brisbane city, featuring palms, Moreton Bay Figs, a mangrove walk, rainforest glade and a café.
• Brisbane Antique & Art Centre - A display of items such as antique mahogany, cedar and walnut furniture, fine silver, copper and brass, Japanese wood-cuts, old and modern paintings, porcelain, jewellery, coins and much more.
• Brisbane City Gallery - A range of contemporary exhibitions including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, archives and memorabilia reflecting Brisbane's history and development.
• Brisbane Forest Park - Located on the western side of the city, this park contains 28 hectares of rainforest, mountains, waterfalls, creeks and bushland. The area also features a number of picnic grounds and an information centre at the Gap.
• Conrad International Treasury Casino - Features more than 100 gaming tables and over 1100 gaming machines to keep visitors entertained!
• Customs House Gallery - A delightful gallery featuring changing exhibitions of mostly Queensland artists.
• Eagle Street Pier Craft Market - Sunday is a great place for art, pottery, leatherwork, fashion and jewellery.

• Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary - The largest koala sanctuary in the world. This park also features a large community of kangaroos, wallabies, emus, wombats and native birds.
• Mt Coot-tha Gardens - Located at Toowong, these gardens have themed sections including a scented garden, arid zone, tropical, cascades and waterfalls.
• Myer Centre - Features department stores and over 200 specialty shops, cafes, a dining court and food hall.

• Royal Queensland Art Society Gallery - Established in 1887, this is the oldest art society in the state featuring paintings and works by Queensland artists.
• Southbank Craft & Lantern Market - Held on Friday nights and lit by lanterns, these markets feature a range of arts and handicrafts.
• Southland Parklands - Set in 16 hectares of riverside parklands, this area is Brisbane's favourite leisure and entertainment precinct. The area contains 16 hectares of riverside parklands, tropical gardens, lagoons, cafes, lively pubs and features a craft market on the weekend.
