Republic Apartments is easily accessible from either Turbot Street (one-way travelling North East toward the airport) or Ann Street (one-way travelling South West from the airport).  Both are major thoroughfares that run right through the center of the city's central business district.

GETTING HERE:

BY CAR FROM THE PACIFIC MOTORWAY OR SOUTHEAST FREEWAY: Take the Turbot Street turn off.  Drive up Turbot Street, which is a one-way street, in the right-hand lane. Drive past the Sofitel Hotel, Wickham Terrace and 100 meters past Wharf Street turn right into little Raff Street and then immediately turn left into the first driveway - you will be turning into the Republic Apartments' Visitor Parking area.  If no Visitor Bay is available then the Loading Bay in the same area should be free, to park temporarily while you check-in. Please note that you will need to walk around to the main entrance, at the front of the building, in Turbot Street.

BY TRAIN: From Brisbane's Central Station walk the 300 meters along Turbot Street past Wickham Terrace and Wharf Street toward Chinatown, in the same direction as the traffic (Turbot Street is one-way). Approx. 100 mtrs past Wharf Street you will find Republic Apartments on the right.

FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT: A 14kms (approx. $40) Taxi ride will take approx. 15 minutes.  Or, $14 per person by AirTrain from the airport to Central Rail Station - approx 20 minute ride.  If driving yourself, follow the signs into the city and once in the city you will be on Ann Street.  Turn right into Wharf Street and then the first right into Turbot Street.  We are 100 meters on the right.
